What We Believe

We believe, passionately and unashamedly, that Jesus Christ is the hope of the world. Our goal is to be a church on a mission, sharing the same love that has changed our lives with the people of our community. We believe in a God who loves and accepts people right where they are. We don’t pretend to be perfect people; but we do serve a perfect God.

We believe in the power of the Holy Spirit; that God’s spirit is still at work today; that he still heals and fills people and empowers them to fulfill God’s destiny for their lives.

We believe in the community of the church; that we are called by God to love one another as family and use our gifts to encourage each other.

We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back soon and we await his return with expectation.

We believe in baptism by immersion, which is a public declaration of  faith in Jesus Christ and a symbol of a new life.

We believe in partaking of communion as Jesus did. As we do this, we remember everything Jesus accomplished for us at the cross, and we receive healing and forgiveness through the symbols of his body and blood.
